If you fill in the contact form: your name, WhatsApp number (any country), email, and area/LGA. If you skip it, we still record pseudonymous usage data — which step you reached, the property type, your sizing inputs, and a session identifier. We process your IP address solely to deliver the service and detect abuse; we do not store it long-term.
Submissions are sent over HTTPS to a server hosted by Google (United States). Where you are in the EU, EEA, UK, or Switzerland, this transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (UK-US Data Bridge), or the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework as applicable. Once our Cloudflare Worker proxy is live (planned pre-public-launch), most lead processing will be edge-resident at Cloudflare data centres, with regional routing where required.
Lead data (name, phone, email, area) is retained for 24 months from collection, after which it is deleted. Pseudonymous analytics events are retained in aggregate form only; identifiers are stripped after 24 months. You may request deletion sooner.

The IsaKiel Energy website and tool (the "Service") generates indicative solar system specifications based on inputs you provide. The Service is free to use, requires no sign-up, and is intended for personal or business decision-support purposes.
The spec sheet, indicative price range, generator-reduction estimate, and fuel-savings figures are indicative estimates based on the inputs you provide and Nigerian market data as of the publication date. They are not a quote, contract, or recommendation of any specific installer, product, or supplier. Final pricing and system specifications must be confirmed by a qualified installer after on-site assessment.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" with no warranties, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, IsaKiel Energy's aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service is limited to NGN 10,000 (or local currency equivalent). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
The Service, including its design, code, copy, and methodology, is owned by IsaKiel Energy. The personalised spec sheet generated for you is yours to keep, share, and use in any way you wish — including forwarding to installers, family, or business partners. You retain ownership of any inputs you provide.
For users resident in Nigeria, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State.
For users resident in the EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland, US, Canada, UAE, or elsewhere outside Nigeria, these Terms are governed by Nigerian law, but nothing in this clause deprives you of mandatory consumer protections under the law of your country of habitual residence. Disputes may be brought in the courts of your country of habitual residence or in the courts of Lagos State at your option.
We encourage informal resolution first: email hello@isakielenergy.com. If that does not resolve the dispute within 30 days, either party may pursue formal legal action subject to clause 5.
We may update these Terms; material changes bump the version (currently June 2026). Continued use of the Service after a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
IsaKiel is a free 2-minute tool for Nigerian homes and businesses. Tell us what you want to power, where you are, and how many hours of NEPA you get. We send you back the right system size, a fair Nigerian price range, and the questions any good installer should answer without hesitation.
Three steps. We don't sell solar systems. We don't take installer commissions. We just make sure you know exactly what you need before any installer quotes you.
Pick the appliances you actually use. We size your solar and battery on real usage — no padding, no oversizing.
A clear PDF: your system size, a fair price range, an installer checklist, and red flags to watch for. Yours to keep, share, or send to any installer.
Take the spec sheet to any installer in Lagos. Get at least three quotes. Use the checklist to compare them. You stay in control of the conversation.
You're in Houston. Your mum is in Surulere. The diesel WhatsApp messages have started again, and you've sent ₦200k for "fuel money" three months running. Or you're in London — your dad is tired of the generator giving up every other week, but you don't trust anyone to quote him fairly.
Use the tool. Generate the spec sheet. Send it to him on WhatsApp. He takes it to three installers in his area. You see every quote. You stay in control of the numbers — without flying back, and without anyone overcharging.
Built for the Lagos–London–Houston three-way WhatsApp chat.
Both will swear it's "premium quality." That's the Lagos solar market in 2026 — counterfeit panels with stickers from Jinko, handwritten one-year warranties on a receipt, installers who collect 100% upfront and disappear. We can't fix the whole market. But with the right spec sheet and a handful of sharp questions, you can walk in informed.
How we make money — upfront, so you're never surprised. The tool is free for you and always will be. We take no commission and we don't sell your data. Later, we'll charge verified installers a flat fee to be listed in our directory — never to change, bias, or influence the spec sheet we build for you. If paid listings ever appear, you'll know exactly what they are.
Most "free quotes" oversize your system to sell you more. We use a diversity factor of 0.8 and only count what you actually run on a normal Tuesday. You get the system you need, not the biggest one they can sell.
The tool is free, full stop. We're not on any installer's payroll. No commissions. No "preferred partner" deals. We plan to make money later by charging verified installers to be listed — never by influencing your spec sheet.
Every spec sheet comes with our "How to Buy Smart" guide: six questions to ask any installer, five red flags that mean walk away, and the payment-stage rule that has saved Lagos buyers millions. The guide alone is worth more than most paid quotes.
In 2024, a family member of ours paid ₦9M for a 6kW system in Magodo. The same setup, same brand panels, was being installed in Yaba two weeks later for ₦4.2M. The "premium" installer never picked up his phone after the cheque cleared. The panels turned out to be unbranded. The battery failed within fourteen months. We built IsaKiel so the next person in his position has the numbers to push back.

Two minutes. No sign-up. No catch. You leave with a custom spec sheet, a fair Lagos price range, and the only checklist proven to stop Lagos buyers from being overcharged. Take it to three installers and compare.
This helps us show you the right appliances. Whether it's a home in Surulere or a shop in Computer Village, we just need to know what we're sizing.
We'll show you the most common appliances for your property type next — you can always add more.
Tap what you need to run. You can adjust hours and quantity once selected.
You don't run every appliance at the same time, so we account for that automatically. This keeps the system from being oversized.
"NEPA bands" classify customers by their typical daily supply under the official service-based tariff (SBT) system. Pick the one that matches your experience.
Most Nigerian solar setups work alongside a gen. Tells us about your overall power setup.
Helps us understand if you're ready to buy or still researching. No pressure either way.
Drop your email and we'll send the full PDF straight to your inbox. Add your WhatsApp and we'll text you the link too — handy for forwarding to family or contractors. No spam.
What we'll send: your spec sheet PDF to your email (if you don't see it, check your spam or junk folder). If you opt in below, we may also send you one WhatsApp message when we onboard verified installers covering your area (this depends on installer rollout in your area). Reply STOP at any time. We never sell your data. If you skip: you still get the spec sheet on the next screen — no questions asked.
Sized for the appliances you actually run, in the area you actually live. No padding. No upselling. No round numbers we made up to sound expensive.
Rough guide based on May 2026 Lagos installer pricing. Final price depends on brand chosen, roof access, and installer quality. If a quote comes in 30%+ below this range, ask why — twice.
Full system specs, the indicative pricing, the installer checklist, and the questions to ask any installer — all in one PDF.
Forward your spec summary on WhatsApp — useful when you're getting quotes from installers, or when family back home is buying for you.
You just got a free spec sheet. Now we need three minutes of your honest reaction. We're using feedback to decide what to build next — installer marketplace, financing tools, contractor matching. Tell us what's missing, what's confusing, and what would make you trust us.
Give feedback →You've just been through the whole flow. Right now, your reaction is the most useful thing in the world to us. Eight quick questions, mostly multiple choice. The two open-text ones are the most valuable — even one sentence helps.
Your feedback is in. We read every single one.
